Kapital DX Launches Malaysia’s First Regulated IEO Platform to Democratize Access to Private Market Assets. It will be the second registered operator in the country, the first being equity crowdfunding platform pitchIN. According to KLDX, the IEO platform will allow companies to raise up to RM100 million from retail, sophisticated, and angel investors, subject to investment limits specified in the SC’s Guidelines on Digital Assets.
KLDX’s IEO platform aims to provide easier access to capital, at a lower cost, and faster time to market, allowing companies to raise capital more efficiently. The IEO platform will provide investors with the opportunity to invest in digital assets backed by underlying assets, such as equity shares, fixed income instruments, and funds. The company also aims to offer environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-focused investment products to investors.
KLDX’s IEO platform is powered by blockchain technology, which will help to ensure a high level of security and transparency for all participants.
